Library
The Kalakaua Middle School Library is moving forward; we strive to fulfill these goals:
- To provide quality resources and access for students and teachers that support the school's curriculum, State and National standards, and GLOs
- To sponsor activities and displays that will promote a love of reading and a "user-friendly atmosphere"
- To provide opportunities for instruction that will develop intellectual growth and use of information
- To nurture students to become independent learners
Our Library is opened every day by 7:30 am to service our students. We have computers setup in the Library for the students to do research and take the AR reading tests.
The Library is also a gathering place for students who want to get ahead, do homework, or get involved with programs such as Weekend Readers and our new Book Club. Teachers and students alike enjoy using the Library and its many resources for pleasure and academic success. We hope to see you at the Library soon!
