Please Help our VEX Robotics Team get to Anaheim, CA!

Our Kalakaua Middle School VEX Robotics Team has accomplished a great feat by being a part of the winning alliance for the Hawaii Middle School VEX Competition in December to advance to the World VEX Championship in Anaheim, CA next month.

The team consists of five 8th graders, and this is their first year participating on a VEX Robotics Team. I am truly proud of all of their hard work and their amazing accomplishment.  

Our team has been fundraising since January, which has included McTeacher Nights, Pizza Hut Night, Kona Shave Ice, Jamba Juice, and Movie Night at our school.

The Star Advertiser wrote a lovely article asking the community to help fund our team’s upcoming STEM adventure. We truly appreciate any donation that is given to our team.
